3 Foods to Improve Your Kidney Health

Keep in mind that mercury chloride may have possible carcinogenic effects on humans. So the more garlic, the better.
   
2. Asparagus
Believe it or not, asparagus has actually been used for thousands of years as a “healing food” for our urinary tract and renal flow. The natural glycosides and saponins that asparagus contains make it a healthy diuretic and blood purifier.

Eating asparagus regularly is also known to improve your urine production, facilitating your body’s natural processes to flush waste. As an added bonus, this delicious vegetable can even help manage the salts and acids that make up kidney stones – impairing their development.

3. Watermelon
One of the biggest reasons why watermelon is so good for your kidneys is because of the alkaline water content. Water is probably the best fluid that you can use to improve your kidney health – so make sure you’re getting enough of it. But more specific to watermelons, the fruit helps your liver process ammonia to get it to your urea. This puts less pressure on your kidneys when they’re trying to dump excess fluids from your body.

Note: Don’t go too heavy on the watermelon, though. While being healthy for your kidneys, the sugar content could introduce you to a completely different realm of health problems.
